The research team that constitutes TasteLab is a benchmark in the application of sensorial analysis for more than 20 years. The company was founded by 3 PhD specialized in the pharmaceutical and food fields and by 1 mathematics scientific specialized in data analysis.
TasteLab emerged as a spin-off where the departments of Analytical Chemistry, Nutrition and Bromatology and Statistics and Operative Research, from the University of Santiago de Compostela, were collaborating. The work and the experience of the group in the management and development of this type of techniques have resulted in many agreements, covenants and research projects with well-known companies and governments.
